Sweet and smoky, and another very solid arrangement... I think my favorite part in this one, would be the extra push those backing vocals give the overall melody... they're filled with warmth, and give a truly heartfelt feel to everything you're singing! As with all your other songs, your voice is phenomenal.
Nice playing. I dig the syncopated picked rhythm - makes a nice groove. And what an awesome acoustic guitar sound! Really three-dimensional and rich.
I have to say that I'm not a fan of the processed vocal echo (just not my taste).

You've have such a pure tone to your voice and it just seems to flow out with no effort...
Great production and everything just perfectly in place.
Very laid back and so easy to listen to, but at the same time, drives along at a nice pace.
I don't see how you could improve this... it is just superb..

Like the little bits of electric guitar. Your voice is really lovely, no not the right word....captivateing. The harmony is just perfect. I really enjoy all the understated touches;back vocals, guitar strums. Great song!!!

You have a strong and natural voice.
Although it's always "easy" to say a music has an Austin sound, here there is a sense of place about the style.
Your full-bodied voice really "sells" this lyric. The song fits your voice well, as the song seems pitched to bring out the strengths in your voice--that natural sustain. Your enunciation makes each lyric easy to understand.
You made an aesthetic choice to pull th vox way up in the mix, when I might have made a different choice in light of your voice's strength.
You've got a professional delivery, and the miking on this recording really works. Even the little ethereal "backing" vocal works very well.
This is a good song.
